About Peter Francis

I am a self-taught artist based in Newcastle upon Tyne. As well as being close to the city, I also have easy access to the spectacular Northumberland countryside and coast.

My preferred medium is pastels, either on their own or in conjunction with watercolour and acrylics. I also enjoy using acrylics on their own, for my murals or on canvas.

One of my paintings was selected for this year's Pastel Society exhibition at Mall Galleries, London.
